Thar (short for Tharparkar) is known as the Great Indian Desert. This desert land is home to some of the largest, rolling sand dunes in the world and vibrant people and culture.

Unfortunately, the people of Thar battle extreme weather, suffer from severe drought, famine and neglect. They are further limited in their ability to achieve success due to publicly denounced education system, limited health coverage including immunization, and scarce availability of fresh cleaning drinking water. Some report Tharparkar as being 100 years behind the rest of the country of Pakistan.

However, the people of Tharparkar remain resilient and passionate and we stand by them to help cultivate a prosperous community.
